JunMHFS recognises the importance of and is proud to partner with Sports Integrity Australia, we have adopted the National Integrity Framework and associated policies. These Frameworks and Policies are essential steps in protecting our sport, our members from harassment, bullying, abuse and discrimination.
Integrity in sports means that athletes, supporters and fans can participate in and celebrate sports, confident in the knowledge that they are part of a safe, ethical and inclusive environment. Mount Hotham Free Ski takes integrity in our sport very seriously.
All our members and participants have an obligation to protect and maintain the integrity of sport, as well as the health and well-being of our athletes. To provide sports at all levels with guidance in the integrity space, independent government agency Sport Integrity Australia (SIA), developed the National Integrity Framework (NIF) which Snow Australia adopted in June 2022.
The NIF includes five policies, with each policy detailing the behaviours and expectations placed on participants and organisations:
You can access these policies and find out more about the NIF here Integrity – Snow Australia on the Snow Australia website.
